How to vote for Alma Cooper in Miss Universe 2024? This is how you can help Miss USA win

This year, Miss Universe introduces a significant change, allowing the public to choose one of the contestants in the Top 30. Those whose favorite representative is the United States’ Alma Cooper can vote for her to advance in the competition.

With 130 representatives, a Top 30 will be selected. The selection committee will choose 25 contestants, and four additional regional contestants (from Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Oceania) will be selected. One more will be designated by popular vote.

During the final gala, held on Saturday, November 16, the committee will select a Top 12. The jury will then choose five contestants, from whom Sheynnis Palacios’s successor will be crowned. Here’s how to vote for Alma Cooper, Miss USA.

Alma Cooper, 22, is a proud Afro-Latina woman. According to her profile on the official voting website, she serves as a second lieutenant and military intelligence officer in the United States Army. She is a Knight Hennessy scholar and is working toward a master’s degree in data science.

To vote for her, you need to download the Miss Universe app or go to the Miss Universe voting portal (missuniverse.choicely.com). You can download it here on Google Play and here on the App Store.

In the app, go to the ‘Vote’ section to cast your vote for your favorite contestant. The list of all candidates appears in alphabetical order by country. Then, select the photo of the candidate you wish to vote for and click the star icon. Hit “vote now.” The process is similar on the web portal.

You can vote up until 12:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 16.
