Hogan, born Terry Gene Bollea, is survived by his widow, yoga instructor Melanie Sky Daily, and two children: TV personality and singer Brooke Hogan, and her younger brother, Nick. Nick gained recognition from his appearances on the reality show “Hogan Knows Best,” which featured the entire Hogan family.
Nick Hogan named sole beneficiary
Following his father’s death from a heart attack on July 24 at the age of 71, Nick Hogan was revealed to be the sole beneficiary of the former wrestler’s estate, reportedly worth nearly $5 million. The Hulk Hogan inheritance includes $200,000 in cryptocurrency, $799,000 in personal and intellectual property, and rights of publicity valued at almost $4 million.
Will updates and legal considerations
According to Us Weekly, Hogan first executed a will in 2016 and amended it four times, most recently in 2023, the same year he married Daily. She is listed as his surviving spouse, which could entitle her to a portion of the estate even if it is not specifically outlined in the will.
Brooke Hogan removed from father’s will
Brooke Hogan is not listed as a beneficiary, having reportedly asked to be removed from the will in 2023 to avoid conflicts within her father’s circle.
Speaking to TMZ, the 37-year-old explained: “His decision is no surprise to me. It’s what I asked for. I stand by it with no regrets. My dad knows I’m a hard worker and I have been surviving without his money for a long, long time.”
