Is there anything behind Lil Baby and Khloe Kardashian’s dinner date?
The rapper sparks romance rumors with the reality TV star after being spotted at dinner together.
‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star Khloe Kardashian has sparked relationship rumors with Armani Jones, better known as rapper Lil Baby. The two were spotted eating dinner together earlier last week.
In the now-viral photo of the dinner, the two of them can be seen enjoying their meal with sister Kim Kardashian across the table. Many fans of the rapper were quick to react to the alleged romance and the so-called ‘Kardashian Curse.’
Group dinner or a dinner date?
However, it appears that the two were eating in a group setting. Last week, Page Six reported that Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Dixie D’Amelio, Michael Rubin, and Lil Baby visited a California state prison on April 17.
The group toured with members of Reform Alliance’s newly announced Future Shapers Advisory Council for Generation Z Activists. Reform Alliance is a criminal justice reform organization started by Rubin with help from Jay-Z, Meek Mill, Robert Kraft, and others.
So it’s likely the two were merely sitting together at a group dinner after their day of touring and meeting with inmates.
What is the Kardashian Curse?
The ‘Kardashian Curse’ is a term circulated online to address the men who have been romantically involved with any member of the Kardashian/Jenner family and their downfalls after.
Past ‘victims’ of the Kardashian curse include Scott Disick and Lamar Odom, both of whom have struggled with drug or alcohol addictions which believers of the curse attribute to their involvement with the family.
Other believers think that Travis Scott and Kanye West, who had recently suffered negative publicity for unrelated scandals, may also be cursed by the Kardashian involvement. In a 2018 interview with GQ, Kylie Jenner, and then-boyfriend Scott addressed the ‘curse’.
When the QC interviewer asked Scott if he was nervous about falling ‘victim to the curse,’ he said: “Man, hell nah. Nervous for what? Kylie actually likes me for me. I don’t get involved. Kylie is different.”
Jenner agreed with the interviewer that it’s more likely a case of the various men that enter their intimate circle leaving as they are unable to handle the fame and exposure which sometimes leads to messy fallouts.
