Jamie Foxx’s Hollywood friends show love and encouragement amid recovery
The actor was rushed to the hospital Tuesday due to a medical condition, but his daughter said Wednesday that he is recovering well.
Several of Jamie Foxx’s Hollywood pals have reached out to the actor since his sudden medical episode on Tuesday that sent him to hospital.
Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, updated her father’s fans on Instagram to let people know the actor was already on the road to recovery.
Ever since the news broke about 55-year-old Foxx’s health scare this week, his celebrity friends have reached out to show their support.
Foxx’s former co-stars send love
Foxx’s ‘Ray’ and ‘Django Unchained’ co-star, Kerry Washington wrote her encouragement in the caption of the family update post on April 13.
“A @iamjamiefoxx appreciation post,” the actress wrote. “Sending you all the love and prayers my movie huzbin.”
‘The Jamie Foxx Show’ former co-host Garcelle Beauvais, who starred on Foxx’s show for five years, also chimed in.
“This is an appreciation post for my friend @iamjamiefoxx,” she wrote in the caption of a photo she posted to Instagram on April 13. “J, I love you so much!!! I want & need you to get better soon, sending you light love and prayers.”
LeBron James shouts out to Foxx
Meanwhile, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James also took to social media to show his love for Jamie Foxx.
“Sending my thoughts and prayers to the heavens above to my brother @iamjamiefoxx,” LeBron James wrote in a tweet on April 14. “Get well and back to yourself SOONER THAN LATER! God willing.”
Corinne Foxx gave a family update on Wednesday, where she thanked fans and friends of her father for their love and support, told people her father was recovering well, and asked for privacy during this time.
“Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,” the Foxx family statement read. “We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers.”
