Jennifer Lopez glams up for ‘Air’ premiere alongside Ben Affleck

Update:
JLo and Ben attended the premiere of Affleck and Matt Damon’s ‘Air’ Monday night.

Jennifer Lopez joined her husband Ben Affleck, director and producer of the Nike movie ‘Air’, which chronicles the rise of Nike’s Air Jordan brand, at the film’s premiere on Monday night.

Affleck and Damon’s ‘Air’ premiere

The ‘Air’ screening took place in Los Angeles, with the event drawing a litany of A-list celebrities, including Affleck’s co-star and fellow producer Matt Damon, as well as his family.

Long-time pals Affleck and Damon teamed up to make the film through their production company, Artists Equity. The two have been making movies together since they made their first film in 1997, the award winning ‘Good Will Hunting’.

The biographical drama features Affleck as Phil Knight, Nike co-founder, and Damon as Sonny Vaccaro.

The film is set to hit theaters April 5.

JLo and Ben hit the red carpet

JLo, affectionately kissing and hugging Affleck while on the red carpet, wore a dress with a long-sleeved sheer, lace top with a turtleneckline and embellished with rhinestones, and a long, bright green skirt with her hair elegantly pinned back.

Meanwhile, her husband looked dapper in a navy blue corduroy suit, light blue shirt, and silk knit tie.

Affleck and Damon bromance

Affleck said that he loves working with Damon. The 50-year-old actor told IndieWire that it was a joy working with the ‘Bourne’ actor.

“I love and trust Matt so much,” Affleck said. “It was so lovely to be working together. “It was kind of like a feeling of, [how] I want the other actors to feel. Like, ‘Come on, it’s all good, I love actors, I love you, you’re going to be OK, everyone, take as much time as you want, do what you need to do and be respected’, and to kind of project that energy.

“It was just so much fun. I don’t know. It kind of felt like just us and getting to do the thing that we wanted to do. I did. I loved it. I loved it.

“I miss it every day since. It was the best, like, work experience of my life, without question.”

Damon said that working with Affleck came naturally, and their production company just seemed like the next right step.

“Honestly, it was kind of a natural progression,” Damon said. “We’ve written a bunch of movies and produced and acted together for so many years and decades, so it didn’t feel any different working this way.”
