Jeremy Allen White’s estranged wife opens up about being a single mother

Addison Timlin is opening up about the “f**king hard” life of being a “single mom” less than a week after she filed for divorce from Jeremy Allen. The couple were married for over three years.

‘The Bear’ actor and the ‘Californication’ actress had been friends since adolescents before they tied the knot in a intimate courthouse ceremony in 2019. Timlin shared a carousel of images to Instagram on Mother’s Day revealing her situation as a “single mother.”

“Being a single mom is not how I pictured it. It is so f–king hard. It is all out covered in s–t crying on the floor kick you in the shins screaming with no sound coming out hard,” she began her lengthy caption.

“Its [sic] not the natural order of things. It can be exhausting but more than anything it can just be so lonely,” she continued.

“When something magical happens and you have to tell yourself ‘don’t forget this’ because theres no witness by your side. It’s so painful.”

Despite the “lows,” Timlin went onto gush about the “staggering heights” that her children have shown her.

“To live with young children is an eyes wide open, wondrous and joyful place to be, it’s to be surrounded by a daily expression of their authentic selves and I wonder if without their example I would have been able to do the same,” she pondered.

Timlin acknowledged that “being a mom” was the “only thing” she wanted to do with her life and poured out her heart over getting to be daughters Ezer and Dolores’ mother.

“Doing it alone has given me more strength and more empathy and more tears than anything else in my life ever has. So thank you to everyone that has helped me in these last 9 months,” she wrote, seemingly alluding to the fact that she and ‘The Bear’ star may have split long before news of the divorce broke.

“It feels good. Happy Mother’s Day ya’ll.”

Timlin filed for divorce from White last week after nearly three years of marriage. The reason for the split remains unclear, as the court documents didn’t indicate a specific cause.
