Jeremy Renner continued his recovery from his January snowplow accident by heading to Lake Tahoe for Memorial Day weekend.

The actor shared a video on Instagram as he drove down a winding road that overlooked the lake, as he implied he was off to spend time with family.

“Lake Tahoe / Home #family #lakeday,” wrote Renner.

The actor later shared two pictures from his time at Lake Tahoe on his Instagram Stories. In one photo, he showed a pair of jet skis that were stationed along the water’s edge.

The other showed Renner sitting on a paddle board in the water with his 10-year-old daughter Ava.

“Home,” Renner wrote about the picture of the jet skis.

The lake is on the border of California and Nevada, and located near Washoe County, which is where Renner’s January snow plow accident took place.

The incident left Renner with over 30 broken bones that required several surgeries after he tried to help his nephew get his stuck vehicle out of the snow. Instead, the snowplow ran over Renner.

Renner’s recovery continues

The trip to Lake Tahoe shows Renner is slowly getting back into his regular routine.

The actor shared a video of himself lightly jogging on a treadmill back on May 19, stating it was his first attempt at running since the January 1 accident.

He also recently showed some love for his mother Valerie after sharing a newspaper clipping with a picture of himself alongside her in his Instagram Stories.

“This came to my attention ... 🥰 love you mama,” Renner wrote in a caption above a picture from a local Nevada newspaper from when he received his first Oscar nomination for ‘The Hurt Locker’ back in 2009.

“A young Jeremy Renner is seen with his mother, Valerie Cearley, in this undated family photograph.”

While the clipping had no date attached to it, it referred to Jenner as a “first-time Oscar nominee”, suggesting it was published prior to the Academy Awards in 2010.
