Jeremy Renner was crushed by snowplow while trying to save his nephew
A new report says the ‘Hawkeye’ actor was injured while trying to save his nephew from getting hurt.
‘Avengers’ actor Jeremy Renner is a real-life superhero according to an incident report, which revealed the actor was crushed by a snowplow while attempting to prevent it from hitting his nephew.
According to a Nevada sheriff’s office incident report, the accident occurred when Renner was trying to use the snowplow to pull his nephew’s truck out of the snow.
“The Pistenbully snow groomer began sliding causing Renner to exit the vehicle without setting the emergency brake,” the report reads. “Although the Pistenbully had some mechanical issues, it is believed based on our mechanical inspection that the parking brake would keep the Pistenbully from moving forward.
“When Renner attempted to stop or divert the Pistenbully to avoid injury to (his nephew), he was pulled under the vehicle by the track and run over. The brake indicator light inside the snowcat’s cab was not functioning, and mechanical issues may have been a factor in this accident.”
Renner has yet to comment on the incident’s newest update.
