Jimmy Fallon recalls with Chelsea Handler her 47th birthday video skiing topless with drink in hand

You’re supposed to wrap up warm when you go skiing, for obvious reasons. Unless, it seems, you are comedian, actress TV host and actress Chelsea Handler, who has a habit of doing the exact opposite.

The New Jersey native was a guest on a recent episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and the late-night host couldn’t resist bringing up a series of trips to the slopes in which she was spotted in “unusual” attire, shall we say.

Chelsea Handler’s memorable 47th birthday ski trip

Starting, of course, with Handler’s somewhat unique way of celebrating her 47th birthday, which she did in 2022.

In case you missed it at the time, Handler shared a video of her skiing, followed by then boyfriend Jo Koy on a snowmobile.

While she showed off her skills on the slopes by skiing without poles, what was considerably more noticeable was her lack of clothing, with Handler wearing nothing but blue underwear (unless you count the American flag stickers on her breasts, covering her nipples). A drink in one hand and a joint in the other made it a memorable birthday hat-trick. Speaking to Fallon, Handler confirmed a margarita was her drink of choice.

Although the comedian, 50 on February 25, had earlier revealed Koy had “renewed my faith in men,” the couple split up soon afterwards.

Handler has, however, had plenty more happy times in the snow. Fallon reminded her of a second, scantily-clad skiing episode, which she sported a visor, a bikini and…a dog.

“That’s Bernie, my old dog. She’s no longer with us but that was her last hurrah. She went out with a bang, though. We were done skiing, and then she was gone,” Handler joked.

She even managed to go one better on a third skiing trip, sliding down the slopes while carrying not one but two of her furry friends.

There was no mention, it should be said, of frostbite, although we suggest you don’t try near-naked skiing at home, just in case.
