After their sold-out Broadway residency last month, the Jonas Brothers are amping up fans with their new announcement that they’ll be performing a one-night show at Yankee Stadium, in New York City.

The band is excited to announce they’ll be performing for fans once again, fulfilling a longtime dream, and took to Instagram to make the announcement.

“NEW YORK! We’ve been dreaming about this one our whole lives. Five albums. One Epic Night. Saturday, August 12 at Yankee Stadium,” they wrote in the caption.

When and where to purchase tickets

Their Broadway residency, which ran from March 14 to 18, saw the band perform the entirety of each of their albums on a different night. The Broadway shows began with ‘Jonas Brothers’ (2007), ‘A Little Bit Longer’ (2008), ‘Lines, Vines and Trying Times’ (2009), ‘Happiness Begins’ (2019), and their latest album ‘The Album’ on the final night.

Now the band is returning to the big apple on August 12 for a condensed version of their Broadway show. Tickets for the show will go on sale on Friday, April 14, at 10:00 am, via both www.yankees.com and www.ticketmaster.com.

Fans who signed up for the Broadway show’s Verified Fans will once again have “the opportunity for first access to tickets with a special Verified Fans on sale and additional info will be sent to eligible fans via email!” according to the band’s Twitter post.

New music and new tour dates for the Jonas Brothers

During their ‘Jonas Brothers: Live in Las Vegas’ set of three-night shows in February, the Jonas Brothers announced on stage that they are planning a 60 to 70 date tour across the U.S. to begin sometime in August.

This would set their new tour to begin just three months after the release of their new album ‘The Album’, coming out on Friday, May 12. The album is the second album released after the band got back together in 2019 to release ‘Happiness Begins’ after a six-year hiatus.

In an interview with Vanity Fair, the band explained the title and purpose of the new album.

“Eventually we had this big meeting, we all sat down, and we answered a simple question,” Nick Jonas explained.

“What do you want people to take away from this body of work? And it was that if they listen to any one of our albums—if we were to say, ‘Go and listen to this one’—it would be this album. So we said, ‘This is the quintessential Jonas Brothers album.’
