Kanye West’s wife Bianca Censori could face prison for indecent exposure
The architect’s daring look could lead to a prison sentence for a crime relating to public decency.
It is no longer surprising to see Bianca Censori, Kanye West’s wife, walking around with extravagant designs that leave little to the imagination. But what is new this time is that one of her outfits could land her in prison for breaking the rules of public decency.
The event occurred on Tuesday in France when the couple, on tour in Europe, attended the Paris Fashion Week. The architect stunned those walking by - who immediately tried to take photos - with a curious outfit consisting of translucent leggings with no underwear and a leather jacket with various symbols cut into the back. In fact, the paparazzi themselves took the decision to pixelate the most intimate areas in the shocking images.
Could Censori go to prison? How long for?
Her outfit goes against the regulations of public decency in place in France, meaning Censori could well face legal sanctions that could lead to a prison sentence if ruled by a judge.
Article 222-32 of the new French Penal Code, which has been in force since March 1994, punishes deliberate sexual exhibition before third parties in public areas with one year’s imprisonment and a fine of €15,000.
Of course, as said, it is not the first time that Censori has pushed the boundaries with her choice of outfit nor the last time that social media users have turned against the Devil In A New Dress rapper for treating his partner as an object as he is thought of by many as the person behind these controversial looks.
West, who now goes by the name of Ye and was spotted recently at Inter Milan - Atlético Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, has been accused of controlling his wife’s life and imposing different rules on her, from the way she dresses to her internet and social media usage. The father of the young architect is said to be considering having a strong talk with the musician to try to clarify the situation with his daughter, who has been suffering since she married Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband.
The latest controversy surrounding the rapper has been with Kim, his ex-wife, about whom he posted a message on social media in which he requested she change their children’s school. West’s children attend Sierra Canyon School, a place that is disguised for the children of celebrities; according to Kanye, it is “a fake school for celebrities that are used by ‘the system’”.
‘At this point everybody knows what “the system” is code word for 👀,’ read Kanye’s additional message. ‘I was removed from my dad by the system and the system removed me from my children.
‘When the system drafts athletes they avoid working with those who have their father in their life because they are harder to manipulate. My two oldest know they daddy’ [sic]. As well as this, he has also recently called out sportswear manufacturer Adidas for what he calls “fake Yeezys”.
