Katy Perry avoided a major mishap at King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s coronation on Saturday at what was a wet ceremony.

The singer, who wore a Vivienne Westwood-designed lilac outfit with matching hat and gloves, had to regain her balance after her white stiletto slipped on the wet concrete.

Perry avoided a big mishap however, as she quickly regained her composure and exited the Anglican church without falling to the ground.

Perry went viral nonetheless

Although the singer managed to avoid a tumble outside the church, she did go viral when she was inside.

Perry had a confused look on her face as she tried to find her seat before the start of the coronation.

A video showed her shuffling up and down the aisles at Westminster Abbey as she tried to find her seat. She eventually stopped at a row with other coronation guests, and pointed to a seat that she believed was hers.

“Looking for my friends in the club after coming in from the smoking area,” tweeted one fan.

“Meanwhile, Katy Perry is still wandering around trying to find her seat,” wrote another.

“The way she’s trying to look for her seat with that hat, it’s adorable and funny at the same time,” added another fan, while another wrote: “When you arrive at the cinema screening and you’re trying to find seat J14.”

Although there were plenty of jokes shared on social media, Perry took it all in stride and addressed the viral moment herself.

“Don’t worry guys I found my seat,” Perry wrote on social media.

Perry is scheduled to perform at King Charles’ coronation concert on Sunday, May 7.

The ‘American Idol’ judge received quite the welcome for the event, staying at Windsor Castle for the weekend ahead of the performance.

“I’m just so grateful to be asked for these moments and that I have the songs to, I think, support them,” Perry told Access Hollywood during a recent interview.

“It’s all about the songs at the end of the day.”

Perry isn’t the only star set to perform at the concert. Lionel Richie will also be in attendance, while Andre Bocelli, Take That, Sir Bryn Terfel, Freya Ridings and Alexis Ffrench will also perform.
