Lance Reddick, star of ‘The Wire’ and ‘John Wick’, dead at 60
Lance Reddick was recently doing a press tour ahead of the release of the fourth ‘John Wick’ movie.
Lance Reddick, who is known for his work in ‘The Wire’ and the ‘John Wick’ franchise, has passed away at the age of 60.

TMZ are reporting Reddick’s body was found at his Studio City home on Friday morning. Although the cause of death is unknown, officials told the outlet that it appears to be natural.
His publicist later confirmed the actor died suddenly of natural causes.
Reddick is best known for his role as Baltimore police lieutenant Cedric Daniels in ‘The Wire’, which he starred in from 2002 to 2008.
His character appeared in all five seasons of the hit HBO series. He also appeared in other hit shows, including ‘Fringe’, ‘Bosch’, ‘Oz’ and ‘Lost’.
He recently starred in the ‘John Wick’ franchise as Charon, the Continental Hotel’s concierge.
Reddick’s passing comes as he was in the middle of a press tour for ‘John Wick: Chapter 4′, which is set to hit theaters on March 24, 2023.
He was scheduled to appear on Kelly Clarkson’s show next week ahead of the premiere.
Reddick also featured in video games
Along with television and movies, Reddick also had prominent roles in several high-profile video games.
He played Sylens in ‘Horizon Zero Dawn’ and ‘Horizon Forbidden West’, as well as Commander Zavala in the ‘Destiny’ franchise, and Martin Hatch in ‘Quantum Break’.
Reddick also appeared in the ‘Resident Evil’ series last year as Albert Wesker.
The actor also had several unreleased projects in the works, including playing the Greek god Zeus in the upcoming Disney+ series ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’.
