Lizzo is calling out TikTok for potentially shadowbanning her after noticing that her views on the app have dropped considerably compared to other apps, like Instagram.

In a recent video, the rapper highlighted the significant difference in the number of view counts between the two apps, saying that the TikTok algorithm is suddenly not sharing her videos.

“I’m officially shadow banned, because how did I post this on Instagram and it already has 135 thousand views?” she said in her video, pointing out that the Instagram video received thousands of views within 30 minutes while the TikTok equivalent did not.

“deleting this but this app getting wack,” Lizzo captioned the TikTok.

Fans also commented on TikTok saying that they did not see the video on TikTok until Lizzo made a separate TikTok, stitching her tour video, and calling out the possible shadowban.

“How did I get your stitch before the actual video?! Glad you’re on my FYP again,” one fan commented.

“yea you’re shadowbanned because how did i not see this,” another fan confirmed.

“This was the first vid I’ve seen of you on my fyp in weeks.”

Lizzo also has 26.9 million followers on TikTok, compared to 13.4 million on Instagram.

Before sharing her tour video, Lizzo shared an update on TikTok telling fans about her recent illness, which received over 100k views, while the majority of her other TikToks have received millions of views.

Lizzo will no longer be sharing her tour footage on TikTok

The ‘Truth Hurts’ rapper shared a follow-up TikTok in response to a fan’s comment, saying: “Thank you, Catherine. I’m not posting tour footage on this app no more ‘cause it’s under-appreciated, but I will respond to your comment. Thank you!”
