Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song welcome their second child

According to an exclusive with US Weekly, Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song quietly welcomed their second child, Carson, in late 2022. While the baby’s exact birthdate is unknown, he was born before Christmas.

Their first child, Dakota Song Culkin, was also kept a secret from the public for some time.

While their romance has always been kept private, rumors of a romantic relationship first arose in 2017 during the filming of ‘Changeland’.

“It’s great!” Song said about her relationship in 2018. “I don’t like to talk about my personal life, but everything’s wonderful and I’m happy.”

In March 2020, Culkin told Esquire that they were actively trying for a baby.

Dakota was born in April 2021 and was named after Culkin’s late sister, who died in a car accident in 2008.

“Brenda couldn’t be happier,” a source said. “Becoming a mom has changed her. She’s always putting her son first, especially when it comes to making career decisions.

“She is really focused on being a mom and giving him her full attention. She has a good support system around her, but she and Macaulay are really hands-on parents.”

There have also been talks that a wedding will occur in the near future.

“They’re focusing on raising Dakota for now but definitely want to plan a wedding and get married in the next year or two,” the source goes on.

“They’re committed to each other and are fully in it for the long haul. They’re very in love with each other and have been from the beginning.”

The news of their second son comes more than a year after Culkin and Song got engaged. The couple announced their engagement in early 2022 after four years of dating.

“They are and always have been very in love with each other,” a source told US Weekly.
