Marc Anthony marries Nadia Ferreira in Miami

After getting engaged in May of 2022, Marc Anthony and model and Miss Universe contestant Nadia Ferreira are now married after a ceremony at the Pérez Art Museum in Miami, Florida on Saturday evening.

Anthony and Ferreira were joined by various celebrity friends, including David and Victoria Beckham, Lin Manuel Miranda, and Salma Hayek. According to Hola!, Miami mayor Francis X Suarez officiated the ceremony.

Father Jorge blessed the two newlyweds before their first kiss as husband and wife. Romeo Santos, Maluma, Marco Antonio Solia, and Marc’s brother Bigram Zayas served as the witnesses of the ceremony.

Carlos Slim and David Beckham shared the role of best man, which came as a surprise to the public, as the couple kept the official date a secret.

The maid of honor was Maria Elena Torruco, the wife of Carlos Slim Domit, Slim’s oldest son. Nadia’s mother Ludy was also in attendance and celebrated with a toast of best wishes to the couple.

The Paraguayan model wore a stunning wedding dress designed by Russian designer Galia Lahav. The design is very romantic, with beautiful lace details on the sleeves and chest, and a long voluminous tail. The groom was dressed in a Christian Dior suit.

Nadia was spotted with her mom visiting a Miami Fashion house to view wedding dresses in early December. According to Hola!, the model chose two gowns for her big day - one for the main ceremony and another for the party.

The first dress is more modest and features a long-sleeve embroidered lace overlay. The second dress allowed for more movement with a shorter skirt and tulle insert in the back with similar lace styling.

The couple got engaged after eight months together and made their engagement announcement last May during a celebration at the Fish Club in Miami. Ferreira shared the news on social media soon after.

She posted a close-up photo of her diamond ring to her Instagram story with the caption “Engagement Partyyyy!!!” and tagged Anthony in the post.

Soon after the couple made their red carpet debut at the 23rd annual Latin Grammy Awards show, where Anthony accepted his award for Best Salsa Album.

During his winning speech he dedicated some words to his now-bride: “Thank you Nadia, for accompanying me, for giving me the best of you, and for making me the happiest man.”
