After 48 shows across Europe which kicked-off back in May in Paris and wound up after an eighth night at London’s Wembley Stadium, the curtain finally comes down on the European leg of Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour.

New audience records, merchandise sales and box office takings have tumbled in Swift’s wake and the singer-songwriter now takes a two month hiatus before the global tour winds up for good with shows in Canada in November and early December.

The security scare in Vienna earlier this month was the only negative in a series of months where the 34-year-old wowed fans across the continent with her marathon shows that ran to three hours plus with the singer performing more than 40 songs culled from various phases of her successful career.

For Tuesday’s finale, Florence Welch (Florence & The Machine) was the special guest with the duo performing the track ‘Florida’ for the first time on tour with the track being a fan favorite on the recently released album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’.

For the accioustic part of the show, Swift was joined by producer and singer of the Bleachers, Jack Antonoff as they performed ‘Death By a Thousand Cuts’ and ‘Getaway Car’.

With the tour fast coming to an end, there is some good news for Swift fans with the news that the new videoclip for her new single ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’ set for release later today.
