Paris Hilton, 41, became a new mom this year through the use of a surrogate that delivered baby Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum to her and husband Carter Reum. Her sister, Nicky Hilton, had a lot of advice to offer the new mom.

“My advice always is to not miss the small moments,” says Nicky to E! At the Smirnoff Ice Relaunch in NYC.

“There’s such a short window that they’re so small, and new things are happening every day. Like, Paris always says her son looks different every day.”

Phoenix is now 4 months old, and though she didn’t necessarily carry the baby, Paris is very much involved in her first opportunity at motherhood.

“She is so happy. She’s so content,” Nicky shared. “I was just over there last week and just hanging out in the nursery with her and her son, and she’s so complete is the word I’d use.”

“Being a mom is the most incredible experience I have ever had. It’s a love that cannot be put into words, a feeling that I never knew existed until I held my little prince in my arms. Watching him grow and learn every single day brings me so much happiness and fills my heart with so much love.” captions the media personality.

Nicky says that the babies resemble their family a lot, but the genes are reversed.

“He looks a lot like me as a baby, and my daughter Lily-Grace looks identical to Paris as a child. So, it’s interesting how the genes crossed like that.” tells the heiress.

“Funny, we had all girls in the family and, in the last year, my brother had a son, Paris had a son and I had a son,” Nicky told E!. “So, we’ve been flooded with boys, and it’s amazing to see the bond between them.”

She was asked how the children play together when they all get together for family gatherings and play dates.

“It’s a lot of parallel playing,” she explained, “and we put them on the floor, and they hang out next to each other and we hang out. But that’s sort of how it was growing up with my mom, and her sisters, and our cousins and we’re all best friends like sisters.”
