Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby reveal their chemistry on ‘The Fantastic 4’: “Who wouldn’t want to marry Pedro?
Actors have more than just the movie to complete, with media duties quickly following the premiere.
As part of the promotional tour for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, stars Pedro Pascal and Vanessa Kirby made the media rounds. One of their stops was with the UK’s Hits Radio, where host Will Best got the chance to chat with the duo. After touching on various elements of the film – including a playful question about just how stretchy Pascal really is – the conversation turned to the couple they portray on screen.

“In the film, you play a married couple,” Best noted, before turning to Kirby: “What kind of husband would Pedro make?”
“Oh my God, are you kidding?” Kirby replied without missing a beat. “I mean, who wouldn’t want to marry Pedro? He’s the best ever.”
It was a glowing endorsement, but perhaps not a surprising one. Earlier in the interview, Kirby had called Pascal “one of my favorite people in the world.” And more of the chemistry was to come.
With a mischievous grin, she added, “There’s no smoke without fire.” Cue laughter from both Pascal and Best.
Pascal didn’t let her subtle reference to him being smoking hot go, leaning back and prompting the interviewer: “Just look at the two of us and decide who’s smooooookin?”
The somewhat awkward interview – including an AI-generated research fail – wrapped up with a bit more silliness as a cheeky gift to “butter them up” was handed over: a pair of Furbys renamed “Kirbys.”
