Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma announce engagement
The two announced they were a couple in June 2022, and they’re now set to tie the knot.
Rebel Wilson announced that she and girlfriend, Ramon Agruma, are now engaged, revealing the news through an Instagram post on February 19.
Wilson shared a picture of the pair in matching sweaters and kissing, with Agruma extending her arm out to show off her ring. A second picture shows them posing in front of Disneyland’s Sleeping Beauty castle surrounded by flowers.
“We said YES!” Wilson wrote. “Thank you @tiffanyandco for the stunning ring and to Bob Iger and the incredible team at Disneyland @disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise!”
Agruma is a fashion and jewelry designer. She is currently the founder and owner of the clothing brand, Lemon Ve Limon.
She and Wilson first revealed they were dating in June 2022.
In November 2022, the couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Royce Lillian, via surrogate.
Wilson and her sexuality
Wilson told People that it took her a while to figure out her sexuality, and that before she met Agruma, she “was really looking for a husband.”
The actress went on to explain that she thought she was straight and just hadn’t met the right man yet.
“I always was a bit of a girls’ girl and had deep friendships with women, but this was the first time that it was a romantic connection and I was just shocked,” she said.
“And then I was like, ‘Oh, well, what if that was just part of my personality that I was repressing and wasn’t exploring?’
“And maybe I should have 10 years earlier. My journey is what it is, but it’s just just awesome now to be in a relationship.”
In regards to her sexuality she said: “And I still don’t know 100 percent what category I would fit in. I don’t really know. I’m just in a great same-sex relationship now, and it’s awesome.”
