Reese Witherspoon stuns on red carpet in first appearance since divorce news

Reese Witherspoon recently made an appearance on the red carpet for ‘The Last Thing He Told Me’ premiere. This marks her first public appearance since she announced her divorce from Jim Toth back in March.

Witherspoon posed gracefully for photographers at the premiere. She is an executive producer on ‘The Last Thing He Told Me’, which is now available on Apple TV+.

She was radiant at the event, donning a one-shouldered black dress with matching black pumps. The Oscar-winning actress smiled at photographers as she made her way down the carpet.

‘The Last Thing He Told Me’ premiere airs on Apple TV+

The new series, ‘The Last Thing He Told Me’, is now available for streaming on Apple TV+ as of April 14, 2023. The series follows the main character Hannah Hall (Jennifer Garner) after she discovers her now-disappeared husband kept a big secret.

The series will have seven parts and is a collaboration between Apple TV+ and Witherspoon’s media company, Hello Sunshine. ‘The Last Thing He Told Me’ is based on the novel of the same name by Laura Dave.

Witherspoon is an executive producer on the show, alongside lead actress Jennifer Garner, Academy Award-winning songwriter Josh Singer, and acclaimed author Laura Dave.

Reese Witherspoon files for divorce

Witherspoon and Toth were married for 12 years but ultimately decided to call it quits. They will share joint custody of their 10-year-old son, Tennessee James.

The pair filed for divorce on March 24. They maintain that the split was amicable, and they intend on remaining friends after the divorce.

“This is such an amicable decision,” one insider source divulged to People.

“They are so committed to co-parenting together. They are invested in their whole family and making this as smooth as possible for everyone.”
