Stars of ‘Yellowjackets’ look stunning at season 2 premiere event in Los Angeles
Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Juliette Lewis and Christina Ricci were among the best dressed at the event
With season 2 of Showtime’s ‘Yellowjackets’ gearing up, the stars of the hit show took to the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood to celebrate the season premiere to eagerly awaiting fans on Wednesday evening.
The actresses made their way through the red carpet of the theater, looking stunning as ever, as they were joined by their younger counterparts before the entire cast got together to pose for a group photo.
What the upcoming second season will bring
The eagerly awaited second season of the series will take a closer look at what a girl’s high school soccer team had to go through to survive in the wild after a deadly plane crash on their way to a competition in Seattle, with new cast members adding to the already critically acclaimed cast.
The show stars Melanie Lynskey and Sophie Nélisse as the adult and teen version of Shauna Shipman, Tawny Cypress and Jasmin Savoy Brown as Taissa Turner, Juliette Lewis and Sophie Thatcher as Natalie Scatorccio, and Christina Ricci and Samantha Hanratty as Misty Quigley.
Liv Hewson will reprise her role as Vanessa Palmer, with Lauren Ambrose joining season two as her adult counterpart. Simone Kessell will play the adult Lottie Matthews in season two, with Courtney Eaton playing the character as a teen.

Tawny Cypress and Jasmin Savoy Brown
Tawny Cypress and Jasmin Savoy Brown opted for gowns at the premiere. Cypress wore a ivory silk halter dress, and Savoy Brown wore a black Ronald Van Der Kemp gown with sleeve cuffs.
Juliette Lewis and Sophie Thatcher
Juliette Lewis wore a gold and silver Olivier Theyskens gown with Kallati Jewelry drop earrings. Thatcher wore a stunning red vintage Dior dress.
Christina Ricci and Samantha Hanratty
Christina Ricci wore a sleeveless black Fendi dress, with black boots and a black clutch bag. Hanratty wore a black gown with a corset top, complete with a dramatic red eye look.
