Fan-favorite drama series ‘Succession’ reached a series high in viewership after the most recent episode aired. The HBO show hit a record 2.5 million viewers for Episode 3 of this final season.
This peak marks a significant jump in both ratings and viewership since the last episode. Episode 3 attracted 22% more viewers than Episode 2 last week.
The viewership amount is calculated from both the amount of viewers that tuned in live on HBO’s cable channel, as well as streams on HBO Max that same night.
Created by Jesse Armstrong, ‘Succession’ delves into the drama of the fictional Roy family, specifically who will inherit patriarch Logan Roy’s entertainment conglomerate Waystar Royco. The Roy family is loosely based on the Murdochs.
