Taylor Swift treated fans in Las Vegas last night to another special surprise during the pop star’s second show in the city. Swift brought Marcus Mumford from the folk-rock band Mumford & Sons to perform a duet.

The pair performed ‘Cowboy Like Me’ from Swift’s 2020 surprise album ‘Evermore.’ This was the first time fans had heard the song performed live.

The song appeared during the two-song ‘surprise’ portion of the singer’s 44-track setlist.

‘Cowboy Like Me’ wasn’t the only surprise track of the night, as Swift also performed ‘White Horse’ from her 2008 Fearless album just after. This is the first time she’s performed the song live since 2018.

Previous Surprise Songs

While Saturday night was the first time Swift has brought out a special guest thus far, she has done six other surprise songs from previous nights. The first night Swift performed ‘Mirrorball’ off of her 2020 album ‘Folklore’ and ‘Tim McGraw’ from her 2006 self-titled album.

The following night in Glendale, Arizona, Swift surprised fans with ‘This Is Me Trying’ also off of ‘Folklore’ and ‘State of Grace’ from her 2012 album ‘Red.’ On the first night of her Las Vegas weekend shows, the pop singer opted to perform ‘Our Song’ from her 2006 debut album and ‘Snow on the Beach’ from her latest album, ‘Midnights.’

The Eras Tour Setlist

The Eras Tour is a lengthy concert that’s over three hours long and comprises an impressive 44 songs divided up into 10 acts that portray each of Swift’s albums over her 17-year-long career.

The singer typically performs 2-4 songs from each album including the two surprise songs. However, the setlist only includes one song from Swift’s 2010 album ‘Speak Now.’

Many fans have speculated why Swift opted to only perform ‘Enchanted’ from the album. The widespread consensus is that Swift wants to avoid using songs she doesn’t own the masters to.

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)

Despite being neglected by the Eras Tour setlist, many fans are convinced that ‘Speak Now’ will be the next album Swift releases as a re-recording. They believe that Swift has hinted at the upcoming album and put ‘easter egg’ clues in her latest album ‘Midnights’ indicating that ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’ will be coming out next.
