Taylor Swift endorsed Kamala Harris on Instagram: List of celebrities who liked the post
Swift’s endorsement of Harris has sent the internet into a frenzy, including various famous faces.
When Taylor Swift speaks, a lot of people listen. OK, they’re mostly Swifties who like to swap friendship bracelets, but there are times when the artist grabs the attention of more than just the fans. Her latest Instagram message, which came in the wake of Kamala Harris’ mashing of Donald Trump on live television, has sparked plenty of smiles, with a lot of likes coming from celebrities.
Both Caitlin Clark and Oprah liked the message on Instagram from Swift, who said that she needed “to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter”, adding that she’ll vote “for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election... because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them”, fully planting her cowboy boots on the Democratic side of the divide.
Who liked Taylor Swift’s post about the US election?
As for the famous faces to drop a like on the Instagram post were Travis Kelce’s sister Kylie, Selena Gomez, Jack Antonoff, Andy Cohen, Jennifer Aniston, Gracie Abrams, Viola Davis, Mandy Moore, Octavia Spencer, Chrissy Teigen, Charli XCX, Demi Lovato, Lupita Nyong’o, Noah Kahan and “The View” co-host and conservative Alyssa Farah Griffin.
Things got weird after the post, with Twitter owner Elon Musk writing “Fine Taylor … you win … I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life,” after the singer made reference to JD Vance in her message. Criticism flew in the way of Musk, who has remained quiet on the matter.
The reaction to the debate itself has been in favour of Harris, who acted like the adult in the room as Trump fumbled through repeated rhetoric of immigration and foreign countries. The Vice President warned at the beginning of the debate that her opponent would employ such tactics, and it seems that both the media and the people on the street are giving the win to Kamala this time around. We’ve since seen Trump’s stock crash in the stock market, hitting a new low early on Wednesday when it began publicly trading in March at $15.30.
