Taylor Swift gets down to Bad Bunny at the 2023 Grammy Awards

Bad Bunny had everyone moving during his performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards ahead of Best Música Urbana Album win.

Bad Bunny managed to get everyone dancing at the 2023 Grammy Awards, including Taylor Swift, before he went on to win Best Música Urbana Album.

The rapper is back on the Grammy’s stage and performed a medley from his latest album, ‘Un Verano Sin Ti.’ Turning the entire stadium into a dance party, various celebrities including Taylor Swift were seen getting down.

Bad Bunny performed with an ensemble of dancers who filled the stage and crowd as he rang. Bringing high energy as the night’s opening performer, this performance marks the first time Bad Bunny has taken the stage as a headlining performer.

This performance marks Bad Bunny’s to the stage after his first-ever Grammy performance two years ago. In 2021, the rapper was joined by Jhay Cortez for a performance of ‘Dakiti,’ the lead single from Bad Bunny’s third studio album ‘El Último Tour Del Mundo.’

An homage to Puerto Rico

The artist was accompanied by eight plena (a genre from Puerto Rico) dancers, seven pleneros (genre-specific musicians from Puerto Rico), and eight cabezudos (giant folklore characters again specific to Puerto Rican culture).

Various prominent Puerto Rican musicians and artists were brought into the performance including Tego Calderón, Roberto Clemente, and Julia de Burgos. Bad Bunny began the performance with a message “With a lot of love to all of you.”

He went on to perform his song ‘Después de la Playa’ with live music by the band ‘Damian El Apechao,’ with ten musicians all from the Dominican Republic. There were also around 40 merengue dancers on stage.

Not only Taylor Swift was seen enjoying the performance and joining the merengue dancers, Jack Harlow was also seen getting up and moving to the music

In addition to his performance, Bad Bunny is nominated for three Grammy Awards, including Best pop solo performance for ‘Moscow Mule,’ Best música urbana album for ‘Un Verano Sin Ti,’ and album of the year for ‘Un Verano Sin Ti,’ which become the first all Spanish album to receive the nomination.

So far, Bad Bunny has won the Grammy for Best Música Urbana Album, with his other two nominated categories yet to be announced.
