Taylor Swift’s Saturday concert in Philadelphia almost saw some bad blood brew between the singer and security after she was forced to pause her show to repeatedly ask a guard to lay off a fan.

The 33-year-old was signing ‘Bad Blood’ when it appeared a security guard was having an interaction with a fan. Swift made several attempts to diffuse the situation, even pausing her show.

“She’s fine,” Swift can be heard saying, before adding: “She wasn’t doing anything.”

Swift then yelled, “Hey, stop!” multiple times.

Plenty of fans on social media were supportive of the singer, though it is unclear what the security guard was doing that caused Swift to turn her attention to the floor.

One fan claimed on social media that security were being aggressive, stating: “They fully kept putting their hands on us to physically push us off of the barricade instead of just telling us to move.”

Another said that Swift was “trying to stop a situation from further arising between security and some fans at tonight’s show.”

Whatever caused the incident had fans talking, as Swift rarely interrupts her concerts.

“Taylor is never the type to let things interrupt her performance so i know SOMETHING was going down,” wrote one fan, with another adding: “I’ve literally never seen Taylor interfere with security/fans like this before. It must have been really serious.”

The rest of Swift’s show was without incident

As for the rest of the performance, it was without incident as Swift performed at what she calls her “hometown” shows. (Swift grew up in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania before moving to Tennessee with her family in her early teens.)

Swift will continue her stay in Philadelphia with one last performance at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday night.

There was no sign of Swift’s rumored new love interest, Matty Healy, on Saturday night, after he appeared at her four most recent concerts, though time will tell if he pops up once again on Sunday.
