The Chiefs tight end has taken hold of the microphone and with “It’s Christmas Time (In Cleveland Heights)”, debuted at No. 8 on Billboard’s R&B Digital Song Sales chart this week.

The reason behind Kelce beating Swift to this achievement is quite simple: Taylor is a pop and country artist, not a rapper. As such, her feature on B.O.B.‘s single “Both of Us,” in 2012 is the only time has been on a Billboard R&B chart. The song did end up at No. 1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales at the time, which is no mean feat.

“I always have a blast when I get to join the guys on the Christmas album, but it was wild to be on a song with a group as iconic and timeless as Boyz II Men. My friends and I grew up on their music, and it’s still in the rotation today, so it was just an unreal experience”, Jason told NME.
I’d now like to see Taylor catch 32 passes for 567 yards and average over 100 receiving yards per game. She may have a play named after her, but that’s not good enough and the clock’s ticking as far as I’m concerned.
