Royal Family
The surprising side of Prince William, as revealed by Brooklyn Beckham
David and Victoria’s son has spoken out about his relationship with the heir to the British throne.
More fuel on the fire within the British royal family. Although, interestingly, this time it wasn‘t a member of The Firm who went to stoke the flames. Far from it. However, the person adding to the blaze is someone close to the family: a member of the Beckham clan.
It’s Brooklyn, the eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, who participated in a podcast to promote his new sauces, only to end up discussing his relationship with the British royal family.
In Monday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen asked the 25-year-old which members of the royal family he saw most often, noting that his family was friendly with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, whom the Beckhams attended at their wedding.
Sidestepping the reference to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Brooklyn shared that the aristocrat he was closest to was Prince William, the heir to the British throne.
Prince William is “a sweet guy”
Upon learning this, the podcast host was curious about what Prince William was like in private.
“He’s the sweetest guy in the world. He really is. He’s down-to-earth. A really good guy.”
A remark that might widen the rift between the Beckhams and the Sussexes, as both couples are believed to be estranged. The origin of this tension reportedly stems from Victoria not having introduced former actress Meghan into her exclusive London circle.
