With the race to become the President of the United States well underway, both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are pushing hard to secure the votes of the people across the country.

While it will ultimately be the promises and pre-election performances that will seal the deal either way, the help of famous faces can never go understated as the people decide where to cast their vote when the time comes.

With that in mind, here’s a selection of celebrities from the world of film and music who have given the Democratic candidate their support ahead of the November election.

‘kamala IS brat’

Only one person in the world could call Kamala Harris a brat and get away with it. Yes, Charlie XCX has given her support to Harris, and it sent one of her earliest campaign initiatives into overdrive, with Kamala HQ adopting a Charlie XCX themed banner image on X and racking up a whopping 800,000 followers in a few hours.

Beyoncé’s subtle show of support

Beyoncé cleared the use of her song “Freedom” for the politician to use in her first official visit to her campaign headquarters on July 22, 2024, with CNN confirming the support shortly after. Harris’ first campaign video then used the song, and the doubts about Bey’s leanings were clear.

Clooney supports Harris in statement

The famous actor published a statement in which he said: “President Biden has shown what true leadership is. He’s saving democracy once again. We’re all so excited to do whatever we can to support Vice President Harris in her historic quest.”

Cardi B left no doubts...

Cardi B showed her support for Kamala Harris before Joe Biden even dropped out of the race for President, with the artist telling her live stream viewers: “I feel like it was very selfish of Biden … to continue to run for President. They should’ve passed the torch to Kamala. This was the perfect moment for her.”

“STOP PLAYING WIT ME!!!! been told y’all Kamala should’ve been the 2024 candidate. Y’all be trying to play the Bronx education, baby this what I do!!!” came the message once Biden withdrew.

John Legend’s large message

“I’m so ready to work to help unite the pro-democracy coalition to reject Trump’s authoritarian, oppressive Project 2025 and elect Kamala Harris as our President,” John Legend wrote in a on Instagram after it was announced that Biden had given his endorsement for his VP. “She’s ready for this fight and I’m excited to help her in any way I can.”

Moby declared his clear support for Kamala with a strong anti-Trump message, writing on Twitter that he was “so excited at the idea of racist misogynistic Trump losing to a black woman.”

Stevie Wonder publicly endorsed Harris after the third day at DNC, saying “This is a moment to tell your children where you were and what you did. When we stand between history’s pain and tomorrows promises we must choose courage complacency.”

Rapper Quavo stood up to speak at Harris’ first campaign rally, saying “If you’ve never voted before, make sure you get out and vote right now, ‘cause this the real one,” he told the crowd before paying tribute to his late nephew and Migos bandmate. “And in the words of my brother Takeoff, let me get a ‘Kamala!’”

Lizzo, Jamie Lee Curtis, Ben Stiller, Megan Thee Stallion, Katy Perry, Lil Nas X, Carole King, Demi Lovato and the Foo Fighters are also among the famous faces who have publicly stood with Harris.
