This is the one place where Seth Rogan hasn’t smoked marijuana: “That was a scary walk through the airport”
The prolific pothead reveals a surprising cannabis-free zone and the nerve-racking memories he still has of it.

Seth Rogen, by his own admission, has smoked a lot of weed and in a lot of places. Movie sets. Award shows. Wherever. He’s maybe even inn the running for the patron saint of high-functioning stoners.
But there’s one place on Earth that he says he’s never lit up, and if you’re not aware of it, you may be surprised.
Brief drugs pause for Rogan
During an interview on The Howard Stern Show, the actor was asked if he’d ever gone a day without a draw. It was here that Rogan explained he valued his own life more than taking the risk with local laws.

“In 2011 I was in Singapore for three days, so for those days I didn’t smoke weed, because they’ll literally fucking kill you.”
Singapore doesn’t mess around when it comes to drugs. The country enforces some of the harshest drug laws in the world, including the death penalty for trafficking and long prison sentences for possession. The rules apply even if traces of drugs are found in your system – after arriving. So, Rogen’s legendary chill took a back seat to basic self-preservation.
“They put a little thing in your passport when you arrive,” he continued while nervously giggling. “If we find drugs on you we’ll execute you.”
The pair then realized, somewhat tongue-in-cheek, how good a deterrent this policy was.
“If you ever have a drug problem, go to Singapore,” jokes Seth, before going on to say how large quantities of alcohol came to his rescue.
