Tom Sandoval says he quit drinking after Raquel Leviss affair
The reality TV star shared the news with his fans during a recent show in Long Island, New York.
Having made headlines in recent weeks following his affair with Raquel Leviss, Tom Sandoval says he is taking a “break” from alcohol.
The ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star recently performed with his band, Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras, in Long Island, New York.
In a video on TMZ, Tom can be seen drinking Heineken 0.0 onstage, with fans supporting his announcement with cheers and applause.
“Y’all know it’s been one month since I had my last drink of alcohol,” says Sandoval.
“I’m just taking a little break for a second but, yeah, these are Heineken Zeros.”
Sandoval’s decision comes after splitting from Ariana Madix
Sandoval’s decision comes after his affair with Leviss, and subsequent split from longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix, made headlines.
Madix discovered Tom was cheating on her after finding a sexually explicit video sent by Leviss on his phone in early March.
As per People, she scrolled through the text thread where she read inappropriate messages of their “months long” affair.
“Ariana was blindsided by the cheating,” a source told Page Six, noting that the couple had been “affectionate in public recently.”
Madix later kicked Sandoval out of their Los Angeles home, and he was seen packing suitcases into a friend’s car before departing the residence.
Leviss and Sandoval continued their relationship after apologizing to Madix. However, last month, Sandoval revealed that the two were “taking a break.”
Madix has seemingly moved on from ‘Scandoval’, as she was spotted kissing her personal trainer Daniel Wai at Coachella.
They’ve been seen together on several occasions since then, even taking in a New York Yankees game on May 3.
As for Sandoval, he is currently on tour with his band, though they seem to be having trouble selling tickets.
Prior to their performance in Long Island, the venue sent out emails promoting a “2-for-1 ticket special” for the event.
“Bring a friend on us with our 2 for 1 ticket special,” read the email. Video footage also showed that there were several empty seats, with fans seemingly still boycotting the singer due to the affair.
