On October 5, Travis Kelce celebrated his 34th birthday: the NFL star was pictured on Thursday enjoying a quiet dinner with some friends at a restaurant.

The absence of Taylor Swift at the meal held by the Kansas City Chiefs player was a shock for many. Also, the singer was not present at the Chiefs’ game against Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, a double-whammy of a situation that sounded the emergency alarms and flashing red lights regarding their insanely popular romance.

However, a source told US Weekly that everything is OK, there is no need to panic: the Bad Blood singer did in fact travel to Kansas City to see Travis, who had an injury scare against the Vikings, the day after his birthday.

Swift flew to meet Travis in secret get together

Despite the fact that Taylor Swift was not at the game, the pair managed to meet up and were snapped together by paparazzi. US Weekly says that Swift flew the Kansas City from Nashville on Friday October 6 “to see Travis”, according to a source. The visit happened a day after the NFL player’s birthday.

The source says that when Kelce and his friends travelled to Minnesota later in the week for the game on October 8, Swift reportedly went to his house.

The NFL confirmed that the pop star was not present at the US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis when the Chiefs beat the Vikings. According to reports from The Messenger, the Chiefs tight end is convinced that his relationship with Swift has brought him good luck: “He jokes that she is his good luck charm”, said the source.

In the training session after the game on Sunday, the source said that Kelce “feels on top of the world, like after a Super Bowl, and now he’s even higher than that”.

The rumours of a romance between the pair emerged last month. A reporter from The Messenger pointed out that the Kansas City Chiefs player and the singer had been seeing each other for a few weeks. According to the outlet, Taylor saw Travis when he was in New York a few weeks ago.

Days later, in an episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Kelce admitted that he had been talking to the singer and that he had invited her to watch him play at Arrowhead Stadium.

Before missing out on the game on Sunday, Swift attended the two previous games, and was pictured next to Kelce’s mother, who said that she felt like “she was in an alternate universe” as it is something that she’s “never been involved in before”.
