Video revealed confirming accusations against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs

CNN has obtained video showing that some of the accusations made by Cassie Ventura against Sean “Diddy” Combs were true.

Update:

In November of last year, Cassie Ventura filed a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, her former partner, accusing him of sexual and physical abuse, including punching, kicking and stomping on her, during the course of their relationship.

Just one day after Ventura took legal action against the rapper, the two reached an agreement. However, six months after Ventura accused Combs of sexual and physical violence, a video has been released confirming some of the statements presented in the lawsuit.

Video revealed showing physical violence by Sean 'Diddy' Combs against Ventura

CNN shared surveillance video from 2016 showing the producer grabbing, pushing, dragging and kicking his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura during an altercation at a hotel. The images coincide with the accusations in the federal lawsuit filed by the singer and actress.

The footage, compiled from multiple camera angles dated March 5, 2016, shows the rapper at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles.

In the video you can see Ventura leaving the hotel room, walking towards an elevator area, followed by Combs who, upon arriving next to her, grabs her by the back of the neck and throws her to the ground. Then he turns to kick her.

While Ventura is on the ground, Combs grabs the purse and suitcase that Ventura was carrying and then turns around and kicks Ventura again while she lies motionless on the ground. Then he grabs Ventura by her sweatshirt and drags her across the ground.

Elsewhere in the video, Ventura is seen slowly getting up, picking up some objects, and grabbing a phone on the hallway wall near the elevators.

Later, in the reflection of a mirror, Combs can be seen pushing Ventura and then sitting on a chair and throwing objects at her.

You can watch the video here, which includes a warning for disturbing images.

According to journalist Meghann Cunniff, Ventura’s attorney shared the following statement: The gut-wrenching video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs. Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this to light.”

Despite reaching a settlement with Ventura last year, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ legal team said that move was “in no way an admission of wrongdoing.” The rapper has previously denied Ventura’s allegations.
