What caused Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid to split?

Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid have gone their separate ways.

The couple were first spotted publicly last September while attending a friend’s party together.

“They sort of run in the same high profile circles and would see each other at events, clubs, restaurants and gatherings,” a source told People at the time.

They were then seen on various other outings in New York.

Why did DiCaprio and Hadid split?

However, the pair were last spotted together when they left the same restaurant back in November, with a source stating they are no longer spending time together.

“She hasn’t seen him for a while. She just decided that she was done with him,” a source told People. “They are at very different places in life. She prioritizes being a mom.”

“It was never that serious anyway. It kind of just fizzled.”

This comes after another source told Entertainment Tonight last month that they weren’t exclusive.

“Leo and Gigi have enjoyed their time together when they’re able to see each other, but when they’re busy with various commitments, they’re doing their own things and they are not exclusive,” wrote the outlet.

“They have respect for one another and have always just been seeing where things go.”

DiCaprio linked with Victoria Lamas

Prior to being linked with Hadid, DiCaprio was in a four-year relationship with Camila Morrone. The two began dating in 2018, but ended their relationship in August 2022.

Recently, DiCaprio was linked to actress Victoria Lamas after the two were spotted together.

However, her father, actor Lorenzo Lamas, later stated that there was nothing serious between the two.

“She’s fond of him, obviously. But they’re not dating, and she does not want that out there because that would be really bad. It’d be embarrassing for her if he should happen to read something that said that they’re dating and they’re not,” Lorenzo told the New York Post.

There were also reports linking DiCaprio with 19-year-old Eden Polani after the two were spotted at an album release party.

Those reports were slammed by an insider who said: “Leo and Eden just so happened to have been seated next to each other at the party, and were hanging in the same group. Just because Leo might be talking to or sitting with a girl doesn’t mean he’s dating her.”
