What is the new Wonka movie about?
As already stated, this version of the movie is a prequel to the iconic story of the genius chocolate factory owner. Directed by Paul King (who you may have admired from his efforts with the Paddington movies) there are similarities with Tim Burton’s version, plenty of music to chew on, but clearly develops from Wonka as a young lad, dreaming of opening his world-famous chocolate factory. Clearly many obstacles, including big business rivals, lie in front of him making his path to success a sticky one to traverse.
