What did Tom Brady whisper to Jeff Ross in his roast?

When the NFL legendary quarterback agreed to go on Netflix’s ‘The Greatest Roast of All Time’, surely he knew that some jokes would cut deep.

Ouch! If you’re going to get roasted, you need to accept that it’s gonna burn, and that’s exactly what happened during Tom Brady’s appearance on Netflix’s ‘The Greatest Roast of All Time’.

The former star of the National Football League is used to taking hits from opposition players, but more often than not in his playing days he’d come away from them unscathed. This time around it was a selection of former teammates, comedians and other sharp-tongued celebrities taking aim. And one in particular wasn’t appreciated by the legendary quarterback.

The joke about Patriots’ owner Robert Kraft that upset Tom Brady the most at his roast

Jeff Ross got things moving and joked that Brady is an example to future generations: “If you work hard, eat right, film the other team’s practices, deflate the balls and have the NFL make new rules just for you, then you, too, can be the third most famous guy in a Dunkin’ Donuts commercial,” he said.

That was OK. But then came one that didn’t go down so well, as Ross suggested Brady as a rookie with the Patriots may have said something like this to the team owner Robert Kraft:

“‘I’m the best decision your organisation has ever made. Would you like a massage?’”

Brady unhappy with Ross’ Kraft-ed massage

Given that Kraft was arrested on charges of solicitation of prostitution at a Florida massage parlour in 2019, charges that were later dropped, Brady wasn’t happy with the connection. Getting off his seat the microphones picked up him saying, “Don’t say that shit again,” to Ross, who was quick to reply, “OK, OK!”

All in all, Brady took the roast very well, and had his right of reply too, which was a great way to get some revenge. The episode has certainly caught plenty of attention with Netflix audiences and not just for the controversial Ross comment... although that may have helped.
