Veteran Hollywood A-lister Matt Damon has yet to star in a film for 2024. However, he appeared in two of last year’s biggest movies: Air and Oppenheimer.
Air

Damon takes on the role of Sonny Vaccaro, a shoe salesman who embarks on a daring mission to convince a young Michael Jordan to sign an endorsement deal with Nike. The film chronicles the pivotal moment that not only launched the iconic Air Jordan brand but also revolutionised the sports marketing landscape.
“Air” garnered critical acclaim for its captivating story and strong performances, particularly those by Damon and Viola Davis, who portrays Jordan’s mother.

Oppenheimer
This historical drama, directed by Christopher Nolan, boasts a star-studded cast including Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr., and Florence Pugh. Damon plays a member of the supporting cast.
The film delves into the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the enigmatic scientist known as the “father of the atomic bomb.” It was nominated for 13 Academy Awards and ended up winning seven, more than any other film at the awards ceremony.
