Born Tracy Jamel Morgan in the Bronx, is an American actor, comedian, and writer. He gained prominence as a cast member on the sketch comedy show ‘Saturday Night Live’ from 1996 to 2003, where he created memorable characters such as Brian Fellow and Astronaut Jones.

Morgan is also known for his role as Tracy Jordan, which should have been easy enough to remember, on the NBC sitcom ‘30 Rock,’ which aired from 2006 to 2013, earning him critical acclaim and many fans.

Outside of television, Morgan has appeared in numerous films, including ‘The Longest Yard,’ ‘Cop Out,’ and ‘Fist Fight’, but there have been others. He is celebrated for his distinct comedic style, often characterized by his eccentric characters and quick wit.

An impressive six awards have been won by Morgan on the back of 34 separate nominations in various competitions. Topping this were the Primetime Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (’30 Rock’) in 2009 and Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series (’Saturday Night Live’) in 2016.
In addition to his work in entertainment, Morgan has been involved in various philanthropic efforts and has spoken openly about his personal struggles, including a near-fatal car accident in 2014 that left him critically injured. Morgan’s friend and mentor James McNair died in that crash.
He has since made a remarkable recovery and continues to entertain audiences, which he’ll surely do once again with Fallon.

The site also reports that in 2011, he invested $2.2 million in a spacious 4,485 square foot residence in Cresskill, New Jersey, before parting ways with it seven years later, listing it for $2.25 million. A year after that, in March 2019, he is said to have found a new owner but at $1.2 million, around half the asking price.
Another huge investment came in 2015 when Morgan acquired a majestic 22-room mansion situated on expansive two-acre grounds in Alpine, New Jersey. This lavish estate, purchased for $13.9 million, boasts luxurious amenities including a basketball court, bowling alley, movie theatre, and an array of magnificent fish tanks, encompassing a total of 22,000 square feet of opulent living space.
