What name will Rihanna give her baby?

The Super Bowl halftime sensation is trying to decide on a name for her child amid anticipation for the big day.

As Rihanna looks to Sunday’s big comeback, one loose end is still the question of what she will name her baby. The star, who has not commented on the baby’s name so far, has reportedly tried on several names for her baby boy, with none of them having quite the right fit.

The Super Bowl VLII singer has been out of the spotlight for seven years and she is making her big comeback during Sunday night’s halftime show. The songstress and her boyfriend, Rocky A$AP, who has called Rihanna “the love of my life,” had a baby boy together in May.

Ronald Fenty, Rihanna’s father, told Page Six in an interview that Rihanna is “loving” motherhood, but the artist is still settling on what to call her boy. Reportedly Rihanna has already gone through a “few names” to no avail.

“She’ll have my head if I tell you!” Fenty added. Although, he did reveal that the baby looks like both his mother and father.

“He [resembles] a lot of Rihanna and Rocky together.”

Family visits in Barbados

Fenty said that Rihanna and her baby’s father, A$AP Rocky, have visited her family in her home country of Barbados on two occasions, so the proud grandfather has had a chance to get to know both baby and father.

When asked how the time together was, he said that Rihanna is a great mom and that things are going well within his daughter’s new family.

“She’s loving it,” Fenty said. “She’s a very overprotective mother.”

“[Rocky is] such a cool guy,” Rihanna’s father continued. “Very respectable. He’s taking to fatherhood very well.”

Next to the baby’s name, what fans inevitably want to know next is, will Rihanna and Rocky A$AP make it official? Mr Fenty weighed in on that as well.

“I don’t know about marriage,” Fenty replied when asked. “I really don’t know.”

Rihanna’s half time show

Rihanna’s dad, who won’t be going to the Super Bowl but is in Arizona for the festivities with some friends, declared that today’s Game Day is really about his superstar daughter — especially since the 34-year-old singer released t-shirts saying as much.

“Everybody is saying that football is just opening up for her — it’s the Rihanna show,” Ronald Fenty said.

“It’s the moment that everybody has been waiting for.”

Wondering what Rihanna’s comeback shirts say?

“Rihanna Concert interrupted by a football game. Weird But Whatever.”
