Zendaya surprised fans by returning to the music stage for the first time in over seven years during weekend two of Coachella.

What songs did Zendaya perform during rare onstage appearance at Coachella?

The 26-year-old took the stage with Labrinth on Saturday night dressed in a baby pink dress that featured a corset bodice and frilly skirt.

The duo sang Labrinth’s Emmy-nominated song ‘I’m Tired’, as well as ‘All of Us’, from their HBO hit series ‘Euphoria’.

Zendaya expressed her joy and gratitude following her return to the stage by posting a message via her Instagram stories following the appearance.

“I cannot express my gratitude enough for this magical night. Thank you for my brother Labrinth for inviting me and giving me the most beautiful safe space to be on stage again,” she wrote following the cameo.

“And to the crowd tonight… wow. My heart is so full. I can’t thank you enough for the love I received tonight, made all my nerves melt away. I’m so grateful.”

Zendaya wasn’t the only surprise cameo during Labrinth’s set, as he also brought out Sia and Maddie Ziegler for ‘Thunderclouds’.

Zendaya has shifted her focus to acting in recent years

It’s been awhile since Zendaya fans have seen the talented artist perform on stage.

After rising to fame on the Disney Channel, she released her self-titled debut album (her only record to date) in 2013, which included the hit song, ‘Replay’.

Her last performance on stage dates back to 2015 when she was on tour. Since then, Zendaya has focused on her acting career, starring in the ‘Spider-Man’ franchise, ‘The Greatest Showman’, ‘Malcolm & Marie’ and ‘Dune’.

She also earned her first Emmy for her role as Rue Bennett on ‘Euphoria’.

Although she hasn’t released a new album recently, Zendaya showed she hasn’t forgotten about music back in 2019 when she collaborated with ‘Euphoria’ composer Labrinth as a vocalist and co-songwriter for ‘All of Us’, ‘I’m Tired’ and ‘Elliott’s Song’.

“I stepped away from music quite a while ago, for a number of reasons,” she wrote on Twitter back in March 2022. “But I still really love it.

“So the kindness and support I’ve received the past few days just for a little tiny toe dip back into some music means the absolute world to me..thanks<3.”
