Oscars 2024 coincides with the US spring time change
The 96th edition of the Oscars is not the only important event on Americans’ calendar this Sunday, as March 10 also marks the time change, so broadcast schedules may cause confusion among viewers.
Year after year, the United States undergoes two time changes. For this Sunday, all residents of the United States, except for Arizona, will have to set their clocks forward one hour. The official time change occurs at 2:00 a.m. It is usually recommended to manually adjust clocks and analog devices the night before so that when March 10 arrives, the change is already implemented. Smartphones and other electronic devices connected to the internet automatically adjust the time.
