What time does ‘The Bachelorette’ premiere come on tonight? How to watch on TV and stream online

Jenn Tran, who previously appeared in ‘The Bachelor,’ will be tasked with finding “the one” in season 21 of ‘The Bachelorette’.

In the immediate aftermath of the season 28 finale of ‘The Bachelor’ back in March, ABC revealed details of season 21 of the ‘The Bachelorette,’ the first episode of which will air today (Monday July 7).

Who is the ‘The Bachelorette’ in season 21?

For the first time since the series began in January 2003, we will have an Asian American bachelorette in the shape of Jenn Tran, a 26-year-old physician assistant student.

“Tran is a sweet and compassionate woman who has dedicated her life to helping others and is currently studying to become a physician assistant. The bilingual Vietnamese beauty currently resides in Miami and is ready to find love with a man who’s as reliable and thoughtful as she is. When she’s not studying, Tran loves reading, paddleboarding and traveling whenever she has the chance,” reads Jenn’s bio on the ABC website.

If the name Jenn Tran sounds familiar, then there might be a good reason for it. The New Jersey native was a contestant in the most recent season of ‘The Bachelor,’ memorably making her entrance on the show by racing into the mansion in a black go-kart. She made a good impression while surfing on her date with Joey Graziadei, but ultimately finished fifth after being eliminated in Week 7 (of 11).

The boot will now be on the other foot, with Tran having to find “the one” from a pool of 25 eligible bachelors.

When is the season 21 premiere of ‘The Bachelorette’? How can I watch it?

The season 21 premiere of ‘The Bachelorette’ will air on the ABC TV network on Monday July 8 at 8:00 p.m. ET and 5:00 p.m. PT. New episodes will be broadcast every Monday.

ABC hasn’t yet disclosed how many episodes Jenn’s journey will play out across, although previous seasons of ‘The Bachelorette’ have typically lasted between nine and 13 episodes.

As has been the case in previous seasons, it will also be possible to stream each episode the following day on Hulu, where you can also watch previous seasons of both ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘The Bachelorette’.
