All the information about when the Oscar nominations will be announced: date, time, how to watch on television and online.
In November of last year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced that Jimmy Kimmel will host the Oscars once again. The ceremony will be held on Sunday, March 10 2024. The nominations however have yet to be announced.
“We are thrilled about Jimmy returning to host and Molly [McNearney] returning as executive producer for the Oscars. They share our love of movies and our commitment to producing a dynamic and entertaining show for our global audience. We are deeply grateful to Jimmy, Molly and their teams for their incredible creativity and partnership and for going on this ride with us again,” Bill Kramer and Janet Yang of the Academy, told Variety in a statement.

Last December, the Academy revealed the shortlist of finalists in 10 of the 23 categories for the 96th Academy Awards, including: Best Documentary, Best Documentary Short Film, Best International Feature Film, Best Makeup and Hairstyling, Best Original Score, Best Animated Feature film, Best Live Action Short film, Best Visual Effects... but when will all the nominees be announced?
The ceremony to reveal all the nominees at the 96th Academy Awards will take place on Tuesday, January 23 at 8:30 a.m. ET/ 5:30 a.m. m. PT.

The event will be broadcast globally on www.oscars.org, www.oscar.com as well as all of the Academy’s digital platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook). The presentation will also be available on ABC’s Good Morning America and streaming on ABC News Live and Disney+.
Actress Zazie Beetz from Deadpool 2 and actor Jack Quaid, star of The Boys will announce the nominations from the Samuel Goldwyn Theatre. These are all the Academy Awards categories that will be announced next Tuesday:

It is expected that Barbie and Oppenheimer will obtain the largest number of nominations. Recognition of other films such as Killers of the Flower Moon, Poor Things and The Holdovers is also expected.
The 96th Academy Awards will air live on ABC on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California.
