Who is Jeffery Soffer? The developer reportedly seeing Gisele Bündchen

Gisele Bündchen is trying to keep fans guessing when it comes to her dating life if her latest Instagram post is anything to go by.

“Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth,” the 42-year-old posted, along with a photo of her relaxing in the grass.

The post came after the model was recently spotted in Costa Rica with jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.

The two have been seen together on several occasions since her divorce from Tom Brady, but a new report suggests Bündchen may in fact be seeing someone else.

Who is Jeffery Soffer?

It looks as though Bündchen has moved on with a new man that isn’t Valente according to the Daily Mail.

The outlet reports the model is in fact seeing billionaire hotel magnate Jeffrey Soffer. The 55-year-old is a friend of Brady’s and the former husband of Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson.

“Gisele has been spending time with Jeffrey Soffer,” a source told the publication.

“They’ve been seeing each other for several months now and meet secretly about once a week.”

Soffer owns several luxury properties, including the Fontainbleau Hotel in Miami, and is reportedly worth over $2.2 billion.

Soffer married Macpherson in Fiji in 2013, with the couple later divorcing in 2017. They had five children between them - two from Macpherson’s previous marriage to Arpad Busson, and three from Soffer’s prior relationship.

Bündchen and Valente

News of Soffer and Bündchen comes after the model was seen on a stroll with Valente in Costa Rica.

The pair were accompanied by a male friend and two dogs. It isn’t the first time they have been spotted together, as the paparazzi first saw them grabbing a bite to eat with her two children back in November.

“He and his two brothers are Gisele and the kids’ martial arts teachers. They are not dating,” a source told People in January.

Another source added that although they have been spotted with one another, neither had put a label on their relationship.

“Gisele adores and trusts [Joaquim] and has been spending a lot of time with him, but I don’t think it’s a traditional dating scenario,” said the insider.

“They have a deep personal relationship, and he is a teacher to her and the kids. Whether or not it will ever become more than that rests on the table.”
