Who is Ken Urker, Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s ex-fiancé who has now gotten a tattoo

Ken Urker and Gypsy Rose Blanchard were spotted exiting a tattoo parlor... who is the man and how did the two meet?

Months after her release from prison, Gypsy Rose Blanchard was spotted leaving a tattoo parlor with her ex-fiancé Ken Urker in Cut Off, Louisiana. TMZ reported that the pair got matching tattoos of huskies.

This news comes after the reported separation from her husband Ryan Anderson, whom she married while in prison in 2022. Blanchard announced in March that the couple would be going their own ways and that she had moved in with her family in Louisiana as she got back on her feet following the split. During that time, it appears that she has reconnected with Urker, whom she dated briefly after meeting through a prison penpal program.

Before marrying Anderson, she had been in a relationship with Urker, whom she met through a prison penpal program.

Gypsy takes a step away from the spotlight

In mid-March, Blanchard deleted her social media profiles after garnering massive followings across Instagram and TikTok following her release from prison. Initially very grateful for the support of her fans, the spotlight became too intense and created massive challenges for her as she attempted to start over after serving eight years on a ten-year sentence.

Blanchard was serving a sentence for crimes she was convicted of in her early twenties after she was an accomplice in the murder of her mother, who had abused her for most of her life. Claudine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, her mother, fed the medications that made her feel sick and weak and manipulated her birth records so that even in her twenties, Gypsy Rose was ‘legally’ a minor. Since her release from prison, Gypsy has worked to raise awareness of Munchausen by Proxy and abuse, and hopes that her story can help those who are in similar situations to take a different path and understand that there are resources available to protect them
