Who is Lauren Pisciotta, the woman suing Kanye West for sexual harassment?
Ye tends to do a good job of keeping himself in the headlines but this time it’s a former Only Fans model that has him involved in more allegations.
Kanye West continues to find himself at the center of controversy. Some may argue he adores the attention, but the latest is another dark accusation, and coming from inside his entourage.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the artist faces a lawsuit from his former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, over allegations of sexual harassment, breach of contract, wrongful termination, and a hostile work environment.
What happened between Kanye and Pisciotta?
Lauren Pisciotta, an internet celebrity who rose to fame through her former OnlyFans profile, worked for West between 2021 and 2022. The model says that she and West met in July 2021. Shortly after their meeting, Ye hired her to work on his fashion line and collaborate on three tracks for ‘Donda,’ his tenth studio album. At that time, Pisciotta was earning around a million dollars annually from her OnlyFans account.
A year later, West approached Pisciotta again, offering to pay her a million dollars a year if she deleted her OnlyFans account and became his personal assistant. She accepted the offer. However, shortly after finalising the deal, Pisciotta claims Kanye began sending her explicit text messages and provocative videos, some of which featured Ye with other women.
One of the alleged texts per TMZ went as follows:
“Is my d*** racist? It is. This f***ing racist d*** of mine. I going to beat this f***ing racist d*** for being f***ing racist. I’m going to stare at pictures of white woman with black asses and beat the s*** out of my racist d*** ... Beating the s*** out of his big black c***.”
Despite the inappropriate behaviour, which allegedly included him masturbating during phone calls with her, Pisciotta remained silent as West promoted her to his Chief of Staff, increasing her salary by 400% to four million dollars. Nonetheless, in October 2022, she was abruptly fired without explanation. And although the rapper offered her a severance package of $3 million, Pisciotta accepted it but never received the payment.
Who is Lauren Pisciotta?
From what we know about Pisciotta, she is a 35-year-old internet model, born on 18 August 1988. She rose to fame through her bold photos on Instagram, where she has amassed a following of one million. Leveraging her substantial follower base, Pisciotta ventured into OnlyFans, where she claims to have achieved significant popularity, earning up to one million dollars annually.
At the time of writing, neither Pisciotta nor West has made any public statements regarding the matter.
