The vocalist and leader of the Rolling Stones, who is now at the ripe old age of 79, is going to say ‘I do’ alongside Melanie Hamrick, that is according to The Mirror after contacting the artist’s entourage. “Melanie was at the American Ballet Theater and told her friends that she was engaged to Mick,” the newspaper revealed.

The 36-year-old’s family also understands that they are committed and they are delighted. They were very clear that the new adornment on her finger is an engagement ring and now she is the rocker’s fiancée, states the report. The couple, as yet, have not spoken publicly to confirm that a wedding is planned, however, rumours have increased in recent times because Hamrick has been seen wearing a prodigious and exclusive diamond ring at various public events. A ring that, presumably, commits the couple after nine years in a relationship and a child in common, now aged seven.

This is the third time Mick Jagger has gone down the aisle. In 1971, the artist married for the first time Bianca Pérez Mora Macías, with whom he had Jade Jagger. After seven years together, the couple put an end to their relationship, and months later he said ‘I do’ with model Jerry Hall. However, the couple divorced after nine years together.
