Sandra Vergara, cousin and adoptive sister of actress Sofía Vergara, is set to become one of the newest stars of the ninth season of Selling Sunset, the hit Netflix reality series centered on The Oppenheim Group – a high-end real estate brokerage firm operating in Los Angeles and San Diego. The show follows a team of agents as they juggle both their personal and professional lives.

“The luxury real estate market can be fiercely competitive, and rookie agents aren’t always welcomed with open arms, but Vergara is joining The O Group with a sharp eye for value and the ability to thrive in high-stakes environments,” Netflix said in a statement.

Speaking about her addition to the upcoming season, Vergara said she has “an eye for design” and “a great love for people.”

“Blending that with real estate just felt right,” she added. She also expressed how surreal it was to be part of the experience. “I’d seen Selling Sunset and always thought the women were incredibly dynamic. But now that I’m in it, the excitement is on a whole other level.”

Netflix confirmed that for season 9, Sandra Vergara will join returning cast members from the previous season, including Chrishell Stause, Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, Nicole Young, Alaina Gold, Mary Fitzgerald, Amanza Smith, Bre Tiesi, as well as Jason and Brett Oppenheim.

Sandra Vergara brings more than just a knack for luxury properties – she also has a background in television. She has worked as a correspondent in Los Angeles for E! and People, and her acting credits include appearances on CSI, The Bold and the Beautiful, and Nip/Tuck, along with a role in the 2011 film Fright Night.

Vergara could also be considered something of an influencer. With over 230,000 followers on Instagram, she frequently shares her appearances at events hosted by brands like Glossier, as well as visits to high-profile spots around Los Angeles.
