Tiffany Gomas, also known as the ‘crazy plane lady,’ has posted an apology video on social media. Here’s what we know about Gomas and why she went viral
Tiffany Gomas, popularly known as the ‘crazy plane lady,’ has addressed the incident where she made headlines for her outburst on a viral video. Last month, on an American Airlines flight from Dallas to Orlando, Gomas created a scene by demanding to disembark before takeoff. In a video, she was heard shouting, “I’m getting the f--- off, and there’s a reason why,” without providing an explanation.
Over a month after the incident, Gomas shared an apology video on her social media. In the video, she takes full responsibility for her actions, acknowledging that her use of profanity was unnecessary and apologizing to all passengers on the plane, especially those with children.
Gomas also expressed remorse for causing disruption on the plane. She admitted that there was no justification for her behavior, which led to the entire flight being delayed and deplaned.
Why did Tiffany Gomas want to get off the plane?
The 38-year-old marketing executive from Dallas, Texas, had some disputes with others on the plane about the cause of her concern. Police were involved, and Gomas was issued a criminal trespassing ticket as she kept attempting to enter the screening area while being removed from the plane.
Gomas, an alumna of Oklahoma State University who was recognized as a rising star in 2017, owns a mansion worth two million dollars, according to sources.
